I could care less about the people working and their rudeness. Personally, if I were working fast food in my 30's/40's, I'd be pretty short as well with people who don't know how/what they're ordering. That being said, the food may be your run of the mill chinese, but the portions are pretty generous, and the egg rolls, out of this world. Honestly, as far as taste and size are concerned, you'd have to make the drive to Columbus for comparable egg rolls!

We order Chengs all the time and have never been disappointed. We even give special orders and it is correct every time. Truly for a small town place, this restaurant is really really good. The food is cooked to order and fresh. Service is quick as well. In Mount Gilead, there are only two real options for dinner. This place and the Mexican restaurant just down the street. The only drawback is sometimes they are closed for personal reasons, but that hasn't happened in a while. We will continue to patron Chengs.

There is no dine in, but the food is always excellent, they're fast, and they ALWAYS get my order right, (no onions for my husband and no mushrooms for me).

5 years ago this place was totally different. I still ate there but the food wasn't what it is today. Present day, the food is wonderfully cooked, well priced, and always 10 mins bye bye.

First time having it since they reopened, and they nailed it! I always got the hot n spicy chicken "extra spicy, not white people spicy, I mean actually really spicy" - and they remembered after all this time! I'm super happy they're back open and will be ordering at least once a week again :)

I had an amazing dinner from Cheng's! I tried their General Tso's chicken with fried rice, crab rangoon, and an egg roll. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were generous. I asked for the General Tso's extra spicy and told them I wanted it 'no sissy boy' style—let me tell you, they delivered perfectly! If you love bold, authentic flavors and want that extra kick, just ask for it 'no sissy boy' spicy! Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal.
